In less than a year of Hua Chenyu’s debut single, he announced his first brand-named concert, Mars Concert in May 2014. On June 28, 2014. Over 10,000 concert tickets were sold out within 1 minute 32 seconds for his first show on September 6. Due to the heated response, the organizers announced to hold an extra show on September 7, 2014.

The extra concert was held in the Huiyuan Space of the Beijing MasterCard Center.  This made him the first in the Chinese music industry to hold a press conference in a venue with the capacity of over a thousand people.

The concert on September 6 unprecedentedly broadcast live through QQ Music and Hunan Tv, attracting more than 400000 online viewers. Over 120000 E-tickets were sold. Not long after Hua Chenyu’s Mars Concerts he released his first album Quasimodo's Gift in September 19, 2014, in China and overseas.
